Doctor of Education Program

<p>Built on Northeastern University's scholar-practitioner model, the Doctor of Education (EdD) integrates your professional experience with doctoral-level research—enabling you to identify and address your practice-based issues while investigating matters of social justice. Through rigorous course work and collaborative opportunities, you will conduct empirical research culminating in a doctoral thesis that examines a compelling educational challenge. You will complete most EdD coursework online with two required (one week) on-campus residencies.</p> The Doctor of Education (EdD) program offers a rich, dynamic learning experience—one that blends critical engagement with theory, practice, and research.
