The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree program provides students with a strong foundation in quantitative methods, programming, and technology—including database management, operating systems, networks, and Internet essentials—and the organizational knowledge and tools necessary for broadly applying information technology across every organization, level, and domain. To meet your specific career needs and interests, this rigorous bachelor's degree program also provides in-depth introductions to a variety of career-focused specialty areas, including web and multimedia design, system and network administration, networking, and security.
As a result of your learning experience, you will acquire the programming, system analysis, and software skills required to pursue a career in information technology.
Format: The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology is also available in an 18-month, Fast-Track format for students transferring into the College of Professional Studies with an associate degree or equivalent credits.
