At the College of Professional Studies, we offer students over 70 programs of study, many of which are offered through or in conjunction with one of the following schools or institutes.
School of Education
The School of Education at the College of Professional Studies offers a wide range of programs for K-12 teachers and administrators, higher education administrators, and adult learning professionals. Offerings include a doctorate, two master’s degrees, a bachelor’s degree completion program for K-12 paraprofessionals, and K-12 professional development programs.

Lowell Institute School
The Lowell Institute School, which is generously supported by the Lowell family, offers a wide array of undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering technology, geographic information systems, and technology. The programs were developed in conjunction with the College of Engineering and the College of Computer and Information Science.

School Health Institute
The Northeastern University School Health Institute, in collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health School Health Unit, coordinates and provides quality, professional education programs to enhance school nursing practice throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. These offerings provide information allowing school nurses and other school health professionals to manage the increasingly complex health, medical, behavioral and psycho-social issues facing our multi-cultural school-aged population.

World Languages Center
The World Languages Center is a cooperative venture between the College of Social Sciences & Humanities and the College of Professional Studies. As Northeastern University continues to become more globally engaged and integrated, the study of languages becomes significantly more valued and more important to the success of our students.
