Joseph W. McNabb is a faculty member in the Graduate Education programs and Professor of the Practice. He teaches both traditional and online courses in research and in higher education administration, including “The Legal Environment of Higher Education” and “Introduction to Doctoral Studies.” Dr. McNabb is the concentration lead in higher education administration, and serves as a member of the academic review committee, admission committee, and full-time faculty search committee. He covers court decisions on higher education as a federal case reporter for the School Law Reporter, a publication of the Education Law Association.
Previously, Dr. McNabb completed an 11-year term as president of Labouré College; this position followed a 17-year tenure as professor and dean of faculty. He served as a commissioner for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges–Commission on Institutions of Higher Education and as a member on numerous boards, including a teaching hospital, a community educational agency, and a nonprofit advocacy organization.
