Tova Olson Sanders is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Graduate Education programs as well as the concentration lead for Organizational Leadership Studies. Her research interests focus on shared and distributed leadership, organizational learning, and individual and organizational identity. Dr. Sanders received her EdD in Human and Organizational Learning from the George Washington University and her Professional Coaching Certificate from Georgetown’s Leadership Coaching Program.
Previously, Dr. Sanders taught doctoral and master’s-level courses in human and organizational learning at George Washington University. Her publications and presentations include the paper “The Two-Way Leadership Mirror: Power and Identity in the Leadership Process,” presented at the International Leadership Association, and “Shared Leadership: A Collective, Emergent Phenomenon,” presented at the New Horizons Research Conference in Human and Organizational Learning. She is the principal and founder of Leading Opportunity, LLC, a leadership coaching and consulting firm.
