This program is offered on-site and in a blended (on-campus and online) format.

All teachers in grades PreK - 5 are expected to teach science. The Master of Education with a specialization in elementary science is designed for elementary classroom teachers, teacher leaders, science coaches and others working in grades PreK – 5 who wish to enhance their knowledge of the sciences as it uniquely applies to elementary school curriculum.

The program incorporates both science content and outstanding pedagogy. Participants receive a full curriculum designed to enhance the elementary educators comfort and confidence in teaching science. Participants will learn content through experiences that model the way subject matter should be taught in the classroom.
