As society becomes increasingly global, the need for professionals who have the ability to teach English to speakers of other languages is growing. This online degree program combines research, theory, and technique with real-life observations and classroom experience. The master's degree program provides participants with professional knowledge and skills in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) as well as tools for their own reflection and growth as teachers. Taught by currently practicing professionals in the field, participants will learn the best practices of teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) or EFL (English as a Foreign Language) through a combination of lectures, fieldwork, dialogue, case studies, critical reflection, observation, and hands-on classroom experience.
