In today’s challenging business environment, the ability to commercialize new technology rapidly and effectively is essential for survival. Technology commercialization is the key to reinventing organizations and the foundation for the creation of new customer-oriented technology-based companies.
Northeastern University has developed the online Master of Science in Technology Commercialization degree program to guide technological entrepreneurs through the process of creating new, innovative ventures. Designed for completion in one year, this online program provides graduates with the business and project management preparation to translate technical ideas into commercial successes. The degree is delivered through Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies, in collaboration with the School of Technological Entrepreneurship.

Core Skills & Practical Experience
The program curriculum features eight core courses and four experiential courses. Core courses equip students with practical management skills, ranging from team leadership to entrepreneurial marketing. The four experiential courses offer students the opportunity to transform theory into practice, by commercializing a real product through an Online I-cubator.
Accelerated 1-year Online Curriculum
The program features a one-year, fully online curriculum, allowing students to complete the degree while maintaining personal career and life commitments.
Collaborative Learning
The class structure for the program follows a unique format, in which all coursework is completed with the same group of students, encouraging learning and networking between students and the various professions and industries they represent.
