Michael Thurk is a senior high technology executive and general manager. He is currently the Managing Partner for Mariposa Consulting and is a member of three high tech  Board of Directors.

Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer of Avaya, Executive Vice President - Ericsson Data Backbone and Optical Networks Group, chief executive officer - Xyplex Networks, Vice President Marketing and Services - General Datacomm and Vice President Digital Equipment.

Thurk holds a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University, an MBA from Babson College, and he has completed the AMD program at the University of INSEAD in France.
