This School Nurse Leadership Academy will include sessions on Poster Presentations (how to create), assessing your leadership personality and how to make it work for you, Public Speaking: Even if you don't want to, you NEED to, Wikis and Blogs: What are they and how can I use them, Human Resources: What Nurses need to know as well as other topics.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop if they can (not necessary, but helpful)

Cape Codder Reservation Information
The School Health Institute has secured a special group rate of $160.00 at the Cape Codder Resort & Spa from August 10-13 for the 2009 Leadership Academy. This rate includes accommodations, use of the Indoor Theme pool, Fitness Center and Business Center. The rate is per room, per night based on single or double occupancy. Additional guests ages 18 & older are subject to an extra fee. Massachusetts state occupancy tax of 9.7% is additional. All guest rooms offer high speed wireless Internet access, voice mail, data ports, hair dryers, clock radios, iron/ironing boards, on demand move selection and Room Service from the Hearth N Kettle Restaurant. Reservation deadline is July 10, 2009
1. Call toll free at (888) 297-2200, 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m. daily. Please be sure and identify yourself with the School Health Institute.

ii. A confirmation letter, outlining the cancellation policy will be sent directly to guest via Email.
iii. In the event you do not use your Group Code, the discounted rate will not apply.
A deposit equal to one night's stay is required to confirm your reservation. Advance deposits are refundable for cancellations received 14 days prior to your arrival date. There are no refunds for changed to your arrival or departure date without 14 days prior notification. Reservations recieved after July 10th will be subject to availability and the group rate may not be available.
