Designed to be an advanced course for engineering technology students within the mechanical engineering discipline. The course will cover numerical control part programming using Mastercam software. Emphasis will be based upon programming lathe turning machines, wire EDM and Omax water jet machining software within a laboratory-based curriculum. Students will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge of manufacturing advances and strategies used in global machining and manufacturing.
Prerequisite: ETF 4330 Computer-Aided Manufacturing 1. |
