The course deals with the nature of politics and such topics as legislatures, executives, judicial systems, and political parties.
Religion and Global Terrorism

Since 9/11, the public has been exposed to extensive media coverage of terrorism. This course will explore the history of terrorism, the different categories, varying interpretations of terrorism, and focus on the economic, historical, philosophical, religious, social, and demographic causes of terrorism. Students will examine terrorism in the following contexts: state-supported, religious, ethnic/racial, and political terrorism. |
