SPCS welcomes international students who bring different perspectives to foster a dynamic and diverse population and meaningful cross-cultural interactions within the SPCS community. This is an exciting opportunity allowing students from different backgrounds to come together and share a similar experience.

If you are registering for summer session courses as an international student there are several verification requirements that must be received in order to complete the registration process. International student admissions and visa paperwork take time to process. We ask that all students submit the required paperwork as soon as possible to ensure registrations are processed in a timely manner.

Requirements All international summer session students must complete the course registration form and submit the following required documentation to complete the registration process:

The following documents are required for F-1 students:

  • Letter from current school's international student advisor certifying that you are maintaining F-1 student status and that the school has no objection to your attendance at another school during your summer vacation
  • If you will be attending a new school in the Fall, you should also provide a letter from the international student advisor at the new school certifying that they have no objection to your attendance at another school during your summer vacation Photocopy of I-20 form
  • Photocopy of I-20 form from new school (if you will be attending a different school in the fall)
  • Photocopy of I-94 card (white card stapled in passport)
  • Photocopy of identity page in passport
  • Photocopy of most current U.S. visa stamp (in passport)
  • Photocopy of Employment Authorization Document if you are authorized for Optional Practical Training after completion of studies

The following documents are required for others who are allowed to enroll in courses on a part-time basis according to United States citizenship and immigration service regulations:

  • Photocopy of identity page of passport
  • Photocopy of I-94 card
  • Photocopy of visa stamp in passport
  • For holders of the H-1B1,- photocopy of the I-797
  • For J-2 visa holders — a copy of the J-1 principal's DS-2019

Please note, international tourists are not eligible for enrollment in courses under any circumstances.
