Funding Your Education

Many students – both full- and part-time qualify for some form of financial aid. Learn more about the options that may be available to you as a College of Professional Studies student or contact a financial aid counselor for a consultation.

Please note: To be considered for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Learn more about Applying for Aid .

Federal and State Grants

As a College of Professional Studies undergraduate student, you may be eligible for a Federal Pell Grant or other federal or state grant that does not need to be repaid. Some grants are need-based and are based on your estimated family contribution (EFC). Eligibility also may depend on your program of study or state of residence.

Find information on Federal and State grants.

Federal Loans

Federal loans may be subsidized or unsubsidized, but must be repaid. A subsidized loan is awarded based on financial need and the federal government pays interest that accrues while you are in school. An unsubsidized loan is not based on need and you must pay the interest that accrues while you are in school (monthly or deferred and capitalized).
