Description Accompanies MET 3500. Covers proper design and planning of engineering experimentation; correct characterization and use of instruments to measure typical engineering variables; and application of statistical concepts to collect, analyze, and validate experimental data. Emphasizes the need for reliable measurements in design and control of engineering systems.
