Description Studies basic requirements that medical device and other types of biomedical product manufacturing companies need to commercialize products in the Russian and Kazakhstan markets. Today Russia, together with other former Soviet countries such as Kazakhstan, remain some of the world’s fastest-growing export markets. In spite of recent economic difficulties, these geographic areas present many opportunities for biomedical product manufacturing companies that seek to expand into new markets. Offers students an opportunity to develop a practical understanding of the associated regulatory processes, through focus on real-world examples, the types of obstacles that companies may face, as well as how to overcome them.
