Description Explores elements of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) operations significant to geospatial project management. Changes in government regulations are expanding use of UAS as imaging platforms for commercial/government applications, enhancing geospatial data collection capabilities. Topics include applications, platforms, sensors, command and control, communication data linkage, launch and recovery, and human factors relevant to geospatial project integration and management.
