Faculty members guide students through research designs best suited to bridging study and practice, starting with a problem they’ve encountered in their own work and learning how to use research to make a change in their communities.
Each student is assigned a faculty research adviser within their Scholar-Practitioner
Community, a group of faculty and fellow students with common research interests.
This group gives peers and faculty members a chance to collaborate, ask questions,
and engage in discussions that support their studies.
The Scholar-Practitioner Model
