Brent GriffinBrent Griffin is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Global Pathways and American Classroom programs, which prepare international students for admission to undergraduate and graduate degree programs. His research interests include U.S. working-class literature and culture, critical pedagogy, and writing as community engagement. Dr. Griffin has presented recent work at conferences including the Midwest Modern Language Association and the American Comparative Literature Association. Currently, Dr. Griffin has articles in progress examining the work of the writers Nelson Algren and Mari Sandoz. 

Previously, Dr. Griffin taught in the Writing Program at Northeastern University College of Social Sciences and Humanities, and at Bay State College and the University of Maine, Orono.
