Karl H. Reynolds is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Global Pathways and American Classroom programs. Dr. Reynolds has been with the Global Pathways program since its inception in 2007. His research focuses on the study of word structure and the teaching of African languages. He teaches Research Methods, Capstone Research Project, Culture and Communication, and Accent Modification. Dr. Reynolds also worked with a team on redesigning the second-semester graduate Global Pathways curriculum. In addition to teaching and curriculum work, he also serves as the writing assessment coordinator for both the Global Pathways and American Classroom programs. 

Previously, Dr. Reynolds served as a preceptor in Harvard University’s Institute for English Language Programs and as an assistant professor in Boston University’s African Studies Center and Department of Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures.
