About

Over the course of his career, Peter has made a course correction/pivot to focus on teaching and training.  By profession, he is a trainer and business consultant. The focus of his work is in improving the direction and performance of organizations.

Peter started out in healthcare administration, working in management positions, and in consulting in two large, urban hospital and at Ernst and Young. Over time, he broadened his work away from healthcare to other fields. Currently, he operates Digital CPE, LLC, an information, consulting and training company. He also works as the CEO of Biopharma Connex, LLC, a company that works with pharmaceutical companies to accelerate patient recruitment and retention in clinical trials.


As a teacher and trainer, Peter teaches for several universities, both ground and online, and is a speaker for seminars and meetings. From his practice management experience, he's written two books on medical practice management: "Medical Practice Change Management" (1997) and "Medical Practice Business Plan Workbook" (1999, 3rd edition in 2011). Academically, he earned my B.A. at New York University and completed a joint degree program at Columbia University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Public Health (MPH). In 2019, he earned his EdD in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern. His dissertation examined decision making among entrepreneur leaders of new ventures.

He's married (his wife Deborah is a licensed social worker) and they have two grown children together.
