Who Will Your Classmates Be?

Career Outlook

Put Your Degree to Work

Demand for physicians, particularly general and family practitioners, continues to be strong. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of physicians is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations. Job opportunities should be very good, particularly in rural and low-income areas. Further, the Bureau also reports that job prospects for dentists are good, with employment projected to grow faster than the average—reflecting the need to replace the large number of dentists who are expected to retire.
